Mogilev-Podolsky Medical College is one of the oldest educational institutions in Podolia, which today has become an important link in the health care system of Vinnytsia region

It began its activities in 1936 as a two-year school that trained nurses and midwives.

And today we are already 70! During its existence, the medical college has trained about 10,000 specialists for the country’s health care institutions. College graduates also work successfully abroad, where they appreciate the level of their professional training.

Today Mogilev-Podolsky Medical College trains specialists in the following specialties:

medical business, nursing, obstetrics, dentistry.

The plans of the college for the next year are to open a lyceum class and advanced training courses for nurses, and in the future it is planned to train bachelors in the specialty "nursing".

Significant contribution to the formation and development of the educational institution was made by the directors: Pavlik AP, Mikolyuk V., Dabizha SI

Under the direction of AP Pavlik in 1954 the school was reorganized into a medical school. A gym, a dining room and a library were built by the students. In 1966, two rooms were transferred to the school, which still houses the medical college.

In 1977-1984. Mikolyuk V., the current chief physician of the Mogilev-Podolsky MTMO, was the director of the school. During this period, classrooms were completely re-equipped, four new classrooms were built, and the educational and methodological base was significantly expanded.

In 1984-1994. SI Dabizha was the director. His activity is a new round in the development and expansion of the material and technical base of the school. The main achievement of this period is the construction of a new modern dormitory for 220 people with a new library, reading room, gym and sports ground.

For 13 years our team has been headed by Director VM Kordon, an excellent student of education in Ukraine, a teacher of the highest category. Over the past 10 years, the school has repeatedly successfully passed the certification and accreditation, became a modern higher education institution of the I level of accreditation, and since 2005 has acquired the status of a college.

Two new specialties have been opened:

Crimean Medical College is a higher educational institution of the II level of accreditation

History

The history of the college begins in 1917, when the doctors of Simferopol organized a medical and obstetric school at their own expense, guided by the "Draft Regulations on Medical Assistants and Assistants". The school was headed by Dr. Malinsky.

The title of paramedic and paramedic could be awarded only after completing a full course for five years. The first course was general, four – special.

In the first days of Soviet rule, the school was nationalized. The training was conducted according to the program drawn up by the Red Cross Society in 1918.

In 1923, the school was reorganized into a nursing and obstetrics college with a 2.5-year term of study. In the early 1930s, the school was returned to its former name – medical and obstetric school.

In 1959 the educational institution received the status of the Simferopol basic medical school, in 1999 – the status of the Crimean medical college.
